ella broke her legs(i wish i remembered how...) the other day and needed her "wheelchair" to get around the house. after noah pushed her for a while she decided she was feeling better and wanted to give him a turn.

the kids and i were playing with playdough a couple weeks ago. i brought out some toothpicks for the kids to use as little tools & to build with. noah was so cute, after sticking his playdough with them he held it up and started singing happy birthday, in his cute little voice. he made a little playdough cake with toothpick candles...clever little guy. he loves it when i light candles around the house and he loves to blow them out. it was sweet that he thought to make one of his own.
meet ella's new little friend! she is such a cutie...ha ha ha...
chris dressed up noah in some of his big sisters clothes last night. noah has always LOVED putting on her shoes, anytime they are lying around he will bring them to us and then sit down and wait for us to put them on him. well, last night chris took it to the next level!! it was very cute...i couldn't stop laughing..like REALLY laughing! the best part was him trying to walk in the (way too big for him) pink cowboy boots. he totally looked bull-legged (or is it bow-legged??).
by the looks of the top photo...i think she had it on backwards!!
i want to make some of these cute blooming flowers to spruce up some of ella's clothes from last season. i was thinking of adding them to some simple t shirts to pair with jeans....or on the neckline of a baby doll dress to go with some leggings. it would be easy/darling to put on a simple headband.
been wanting this poster for about three years now. they also have it in yellow, grey and orange that i like alot. the red is really cute too. great idea for a birthday gift wouldn't you say???! LOVE the tile coasters, and that diaper bag is just my style. i might have to whip one of those up when we get baby #3...i said WHEN. not now...just when. grandmas-don't start thinking anything. i also love the cute bathroom mat. i was thinking under my feet as i stand day after day slaving at the sink. it would be much more fashionable to look at then the 1950 linoleum i love so much! anyways...happy imagining...it could be so cute.
i am loving this. thinking about turning our ghetto entertainment hutch into this. i would love. love. LOVE it for ella's room. but don't really have the space. hmmm. thinking about it in a future kitchen. full of table linens, cookbooks, aprons and such. or in noah's room to store all the fun kid stuff. maybe painting the inside of one door with a little chalkboard paint, the other adding a roll of butcher paper for coloring. i love the thought of closing it up and hiding the big mess at a seconds notice. ella would love that. she would be in heaven playing teacher all day long. i can't decide what to do. i told chris and he was like...that's cool.(5 min later) where would we put the t.v.? exactly. i totally want to get rid of that thing. and not buy a replacement. o.k. so blogger won't let me copy and paste the picture of this hutch i am coveting. it is a basic square shape. no glass. just plain wood. it was painted white (i was thinking of some other color options) and the accent panel and the interior were wallpapered with a blue/white damask print. (i am thinking of other options for the pattern as well). very.very.cute. i will try to get another picture of something similiar and post it. I GOT IT TO UPLOAD THE PIC!!! i just realized that it is really just a closet...with double doors.. how funny. i totally thought it was a hutch. oh well. still think it would be cute and work with what i have got.
