i am so excited to finally have ella's room up. i started working on it back in utah, in the spring. a few little details are still in the making...i bought some pale yellow fabric for a duvet cover that i am still thinking about, although i kind of like the white. a throw quilt that just needs to be quilted. i also want to get some photos printed and put up in some frames that i mod-podged. she loves her big girl bed, and i have actually got her to start sleeping in it. a couple weeks ago she disappeared and i found her dozing off in her bed with moo moo, i couldn't believe she got in it all by herself.

faces of ella

ella rolling her tongue and her "scary" face...I can't stop laughing when i look at these! I told chris that lately she reminds me of a cave woman. I'm not sure what to do with her hair lately, it seems like it is always...everywhere. and her clothes are always everywhere but on her body. To keep a diaper on her naked little body is a challenge as well. so she is usually running around in the nude with nothing but a binky and her moo moo.
i took these of the thompson's yesterday. i'll wait to post the family shot because she'll be using it in her christmas cards. i love this of her and mazzy

6 weeks old

i had to get a pic of ella in her cute skirt she wore to church yesterday. i love that she posed for the picture all by herself.
mom, thanks for knitting us this darling hat!
i started calling noah "little guy". ella heard this and she started calling him "baby guy". oh, and my name is "mama tash".
i often come upon this...noah being loved (smothered) by sister. lately i have to keep ella's nose out of his mouth. she thinks it's pretty funny that he starts sucking away. she says it's his "ba-ba" (bottle). if it's not her nose in his mouth, she's lifting her shirt trying to nurse him with "ella's ba-ba's", lets just hope this doesn't happen in public!
brooke and aubrey invited us to go to a park downtown with all their kids. ella had so much fun going round and round and round...i couldn't get her off. she is having so much fun being around kids her age, i love watching her interact. i feel like lately i have had a better glimpse of her personality as i have seen her play with these little friends of hers. i love being able to stand back and watch how she acts in certain situations. i thought she was going to be a little more on the bossy/mean side, but she is actually very loveable and is learning to share and play with others very well. she always wants to hold hands and give hugs. and if you are an extra special friend (mazzy and marina) you even get a little kiss. too sweet. i hope she is always this loving of those around her.
little noah just hangs out in his cozy stroller, not a care in the world. last week i took ella to this darling neighborhood park nearly everyday. we even went twice on one day. it definetly makes nap time easier when she's been running around and playing hard all morning. all she wants to do is the "big slide, mom, big slide".
i love the dirty look ella is giving me for trying to take her picture while she's eating her fruit snacks. poor girl. she is so sick of having my camera in her face. someday she'll thank me!
