Merry Christmas!!

We have had a wonderful week full of all the holiday cheer you could imagine. Lots of parties, presents, family, food & fun! We loved our first christmas with little Ella. She was so cute and at times overwhelmed with all of the excitement. She got many fun new toys, a cell phone of her own, blocks, darling storybooks,a moo moo blanky, and TWO new piggy banks. We had more fun this year than any others I can think of. Thanks little girl!

nice

Ella's first impression of Santa...I took her with Chris's Parents to their ward party, while he was home studying for finals. I could tell she was a little nervous when I tried to put her on his lap, so I just held her as she stared at him and played with his beard..So sweet

Our little pumpkin....

Here are a couple pictures I took back in October. She loved playing in the leaves and kept trying to eat them. She loves being outside. These pictures make me long for the fall weather, as I am bundled up inside watching the snow fall outside. As cold as it looks I am sure that my next post will be of us playing out in it! I love fall.

I'm back..

I think Chris needs a blog of his own, he is always making fun of my "blog", but it looks like he thinks it is pretty cool after all, huh! The last post was his own, I guess that's what I get for letting him know my password! Just to clarify a couple of things...We LOVE this season, and yes I do have a new attatchment at the hip - a cute girl that won't let me get much done (she really is becoming more of a mommy's girl - which I wouldn't mind IF I had a maid & a cook.) I love her and I can't complain for how much she likes to be with me. I am NOT cross-eyed, although I may become so if I don't stop squinting my eyes..either that or I need to start wearing my contacts that I purchased over 6 months ago. You see, a few days ago I put my glasses on the hood of the car and drove off, realizing blocks away what I had done, We started searching by foot (thanks Mom), only to find them crunched on the pavement (thanks Mailman truck). So that was the end of my super cute glasses :( We are VERY happy that Chris' finals are coming to a near end. He has been working very hard and we are very proud of him for all of his dedication. One more week and we can really start to enjoy the holidays..I am excited to get this "blogging" thing going...We will get some pictures posted soon...
Christmas is the time of year when you either want to: (1) celebrate and enjoy the season; (2) hide under the covers and ignore the season; or (3) punch the next fake santa claus that you see. Totally kidding - I hate hiding under the covers. Anyways, Chris has been busy getting ready for finals - watchout - is there such a thing as male PMS? I have been busy with a baby that has recently come down with the strangest condition: she has become physically attached to my hip. It is so weird, I don't know how it happened, but she is now like my fifth limb. Again, totally kidding (really this time), she is the greatest little growth I've (we've) ever had. As to myself - what can I say? 5 foot 8, vivacious, married to a future attorney ($$$), and ready to hit the mall. Just kidding. I am 4 foot 3, cross-eyed, and married to a 3rd-year law student who, at the present, is more worried about the constitutionality of a Terry stop in the absence of exigent circumstances than he is about his personal hygiene. Thanks Chris - is that a wad of toothpaste in your hair? Happy Holidays, Go SOJO, and Here's lookin at you, Kid.
