ella loves her books, more than her books she loves OUR books. we were at tj maxx a few days ago and bought her a "pocket guide to dogs". her very own doggie book. she loves it and feels so cool reading it, turning the pages, and pointing to all the pictures. and yes that is her picking her nose. this is something she discovered a few days ago and she keeps doing it. a new place to put things...i am not ready for this one.

birthday girl

we celebrated ella's first birthday last friday (the 15th). it was the funniest to watch her eat her very own cake. at first she just looked at it and barely touched it. it didn't take her long to figure the whole thing out!

i had big plans of cleaning and doing laundry while ella was taking her nap today...i got editing (playing) with my photoshop and decided to paint our walls green instead.

almost 1

i love how ella's invites turned out for her 1st birthday! i'm keeping the party small, grandparents and aunties and uncles...if you didn't get an invite, and are dying to come...we'd love to have you! looking forward to her big day...can't believe it is almost here.
