You look beautiful susie...i sure hope you think so. i LOVE this of you two...& marin with her daddy is precious!! still looking at wednesday to get you the rest! yesterday ella said, "hey mom, is this marin's couch?" (i never told her it was yours...) I can't get anything by her. your pic you posted today of the kiddies with their sleeping dad was priceless!

this was from one of our many utah visits...back in june. grami was teaching beau to ride his bike and noah thought it was his turn.

fall fun

another day at the park. ella had so much fun rolling down the hill. noah is becoming more and more independent. he doesn't like the stroller much anymore. when he sees all the kids having fun, he wiggles & squirms until i let him run wild with them. at one of ella's play groups we were playing duck duck goose. it was so cute to watch noah chase after the kids and scream and laugh like the rest of them. he is becoming quite the tease, still loves to pull ella's hair and has recently picked up on hitting/smacking...in a fun playful way (it doesn't always feel fun when he is holding a remote control in his swinging arm and it get you in the face...sorry daddy :( !)

fall is officially here...although here in california there is a hint of the late summer lingering...i love it! we are still going to the park every couple of days or so...here is noah in his cute hat at mckinley park in e. sacramento. if it looks a little big...it is. all they had at target in these was a size 6-12. at least we'll get alot out of it & he's got plenty of time to grow into it!!

playgroup halloween bash '09

every friday since last spring we have met up with other mom's & their crazy kids for a play group. last week was anne's turn & she threw the greatest halloween party for the kids. she made ghost pretzels, vampire fangs out of apples & slivered almonds, and of course the homemade sugar cookies which we helped the kiddies frost. The kids had a great time. ella really enjoys playing with all of her friends. she is getting better at sharing and is always asking about them and talking about them. as we were leaving the party, ella stopped at the bottom of anne's stairs, turned around & said "we sure had a good time today" in her most grown up way. both anne & i couldn't help but laugh. it was so cute. here are some of ella's little friends in their halloween costumes...alex the dalmation, marin the skeleton ballerina,ella our princess, max the pirate, elias the fireman, noah our little cow, & bryce the little skeleton..

bishops pumpkin patch

last weekend we went to a fun little pumpkin patch. Ella had her face painted, noah had fun playing drums on the giant fairy tale pumpkins, and I enjoyed having chris there to help me chase the kids. (he insisted that the stroller was not necessary...remind me to never let him decide whether or not the stroller should come along....the stroller is ALWAYS necessary!!)

noah likes to tease his big sister. I often hear ella yelling...MOMMMM! Noah is BUGGING me! I have been working on teaching her to say "mom, please move him." instead of pushing him out of her way. We have a lot of work to do on that one. i found this picture today from last spring. Noah loved to steal ella's binky... i found him like this one morning as we were getting ready for church. I bought this funny bowtie in the dollar section of target. I thought it would be cute for him to wear on easter. Actually,he kind of looks like a little chip 'n dale!
